One of Trident’s recent endeavours in conserving resources have been the implementation of rainwater harvesting initiatives at several of its sites. Both the Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) and Prospecton branches installed JoJo tanks and the water is used to support ablution facilities. Port Elizabeth installed 90kl capacity that can sustain the plant for up to four months whilst Prospecton branch installed 5kl capacity.
Trident also implemented and part-take in several social economic development initiatives. From the installation of electricity, fixing of windows and painting of schools to sponsoring some tablets to assist learners with their education programs.
