Dhesan worked at ArcelorMittal South Africa for 21 years after he joined in 1992. Dhesan left the mill for a Managing Director’s position at Aveng Steeledale in 2013. With the Aveng Steel restructuring Dhesan was appointed as the Chief Operations Officer for the steel cluster and ultimately Trident Steel.
